Do you ever feel like nobody listens to you, or ever has time for what you have to say? Then I have the perfect solution. Write an email forward. The subject line should be Fw: Fwd: Fw: Fw: FWD: Whatever, and the beginning paragraphs should look something like this:
THIS IS A POWERFUL MESSAGE.
PLEASE READ ALL OF IT. I AM
PASSING IT ON BECAUSE I AM CERTAINLY NOT ASHAMED TO DO SO.In light of the many jokes we send to one another for a laugh, this is a little different: This is not intended to be a joke, it's not funny, it's intended to get you thinking..............Basically, all you're trying to do is make people feel guilty for not forwarding it to everyone in their address book. So then you tell a moving story that "actually happened," and sounds really spiritual. It should end something like this:Dr. Smith said only these words... "In as much as ye have done it unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto Me."
Matthew 25:40.
No other words were necessary; the tears filled eyes of the students focused only on the picture of Christ. Then you have a bit of an allegory about how much Christ sacrificed for us, also a moving story. Then you have the things that are supposed to make you feel guilty, the whole "isn't it funny" thing is good for this.Isn't it funny how you can send a thousand jokes through e-mail and! they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing.
Isn't it funny how the lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene pass freely through cyberspace, but the public discussion of Jesus is suppressed in the school and workplace.
Isn't it funny how someone can be so fired up for Christ on Sunday, but be an invisible Christian the rest of the week.Etc, etc. Now you say:Are you laughing?
Isn't it funny how when you go to forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it to them.
Isn't it funny how I can be more worried about what other people think of me than what God thinks of me.
Will YOU pass this on? .... I didIf you aren't ashamed to do this, please follow the directions.
Jesus said, "If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you, before My Father."
Not ash amed ... pass this on.
Ashamed ... delete it.Assuming a quarter of the Christians you send this too have a sensitive conscience and actually forward it, it will be all over the world in a few days. And while people still won't listen to you, at least they'll be reading the stuff you write.

Seriously people, some computer geek could make a virus that includes that message and destroy the computers of all the Christians who have a tender conscience! Besides, I pity you if all it takes to get you to do something is to say that you should do it if you're not ashamed. (We won't go into what it takes to get me to do something)
And no, I didn't forward it. I deleted it. Well, after I pulled a few things from it for this. And I don't feel guilty about it. I can think of better ways to show I'm not ashamed of Christ.
If you're reading this and you realize that you sent me this forward and that I am now making fun of you, please don't take offense. I mean no offense. None. I'm just having a good laugh at your expense.
